The University of Manchester and the Manchester Academic Health Sciences Centre (MAHSC) will be hosting the 11th International Conference on Urban Health (ICUH) between 4th and the 7th of March 2014 in Manchester, United Kingdom.
The City of Manchester will offer the perfect platform for holding such a prestigious meeting with a rich history in urban health – public health pioneer, Edwin Chadwick was born in the city in 1880 - and a bright and vibrant future in terms of the innovation and opportunities for the city’s residents, businesses, employers and visitors.
The International Conference on Urban Health (ICUH) is considered to be the world’s premier global health conference for information exchange amongst urban health stakeholders. It attracts multidisciplinary scientists, practitioners, development partners and various national and regional policy makers from around the world.
ICUH will be an integrated conference allowing people to experience a wide range of topics, and will host a series of work streams devoted to individual key areas of health and urbanity, from Tobacco to Policy Making and Economics to Urban Planning, there will be something of interest to everyone.
